Part of what we like about Kangnung (Gangneung) is how close it is to the country. You can live in a modern
apartment complex and literally
be within sight of rice fields. Just a few minutes on the bus and you're really out in the sticks. This little farm is near Ojukon. It's September, nearly time to harvest the rice for Chusok.
