Netscape 1.2 - Directory PullDown Menu

Place the mouse pointer over the word "Directory"
at the top of the screen, click and hold with the left
mouse button.  Drag downward until a menu option is highlighted
and let go of the left mouse button.  In most cases a dialog box will appear that 
prompts you for further input and provides necessary instructions.  Note that the menu
options are also accessible using shortcut keystrokes.  The functions of the
menu options are outlined in the table below.


Netscape's Home - takes you the the home page for Netscape Corporation.
What's New - takes you to the Netscape "What's New" WWW page - a compendium of what's new and interesting at Netscape.
What's Cool - takes you to the Netscape "What's Cool" WWW page - a constantly updated collection "kewl" links.
Go to Newsgroups - opens a session at Netscape which provides you with access to Internet newsgroups. There are Internet newsgroups for every subject under the sun.
Netscape Galleria - takes you to a constantly updated list of links to Netscape customers who have built special, innovative WWW pages designed to take full advantage of Netscape's HTML extensions.
Internet Directory - takes you to Netscape's Internet Directory which presents Internet sites to you by category and which provides access to the Excite search engine to locate sites of interest to you.
Internet Search - takes you to Netscape's Internet Directory which presents Internet sites to you by category and which provides access to the InfoSeek search engine to locate sites of interest to you.
Internet White Pages - provides you with access to a number of Internet services which can help you to locate people.
About the Internet - takes you to Netscape's collection of links on the Internet, itself. A wide range of topics are covered among the links presented. This is a good jumping-off site for new users.
